Yes, summer is here at last and already the numbers of those disaffected by the notion of enjoying a hot summer, albeit with sweat and sunburn, has risen dramatically. We British are never satisfied with our weather. Well, F&C editor Derek Jones and myself are getting ready for an early 4am start this Saturday morning to thence make our way westward to Peter Sefton’s School of Furniture Open Day near Malvern in Worcestershire. The hire car arrives late this Friday afternoon and everything packed into it that we are likely to need for the day. It promises to be an even hotter day, so hopefully the car air con will keep us cool between coffee stops on the motorway. The show starts at 10.00am so why not come along and say hi and put those challenging wood related questions to the two of us? If that event is out of your way, why then, there is the PR Industrial Show at the Amex Stadium, Falmer near Brighton the following weekend. Yes, we will be there too, again to field your questions and press the flesh. We will be equipped at both venues to show practical solutions to tricky problems. So, brave the brilliant sun and say hello? Take care and see you there... and there...
