Well, it was my first D&M Show last weekend, and what a great time I had. It was particularly great to meet so many readers and members of the forum... you all graciously gave me some positive feedback about the mag, and/or great ideas for future developments.
It really is one of the joys of this job to meet people who loyally read the magazine, and to be able to get feedback as to how the magazine is doing from the reader"s point of view. And it kinda makes you realize that people do have a lot more than their £3.50 invested in each issue. You are a passionate lot when it comes to your woodworking, and you care about how the magazine represents your, er Plans and Projects (apologies).
And, without sounding too much of a sentimentalist, it does make all the hard work worthwhile when you see that people really get involved with the magazine, and appreciate the efforts we make to get a good magazine out on time.
So thanks everyone for making an effort to come and talk to me at the GMC stand, and please keep your feedback coming!
