Hello there! Once again, it"s been a while since I "blogged" but lots has been happening in the woodworking office. Issue 245 of Woodturning magazine has just hit the streets and we are eager to hear your feedback. a lot of people have got in touch saying how much they like the new format and the new style we have gone for. The only minor gripe we"ve heard is that people aren"t too happy that we"ve done away with imperial measurements, although there is a conversion chart at the front of the magazine to help you. As always, we would love to hear your feedback, whether good or bad! We always take your comments on board and try to make the magazine the best it can be.

Mark and I will be visiting the Wizardry in Wood exhibition next month and I must say that I am very excited about meeting a lot of the turners who I"ve spoken to over the years, but never had the chance to meet, as well as some of our authors who I haven"t yet met. It will be great to see these turners and their work in the flesh.

I"m also excited about seeing the turned treasures from the Mary Rose exhibit as well as pieces from the Holtzapffel Collection. Above all, it will be nice to get out of the office for a change!

All is busy here with ongoing deadlines and we are just finalising the winners for the international Woodcarver of the Year competition for Woodcarving magazine - all exciting stuff.

Have a great weekend and happy turning!

Tegan
