A big thank you!

Good morning, everyone!
Well, it’s a rather damp day today here in East Sussex, so much for it being summer! Oh well. Hopefully the rest of the week won’t be quite so much of a wash out.
Anyway, I logged into our Facebook account this morning and was thrilled to discover that the Woodworkers Institute now has 170 followers! I am chuffed to bits with this as it means that people like what we’re doing – and we can’t really ask for more than that. I hope this figure continues to grow and grow. Our Twitter account is also proving to be popular as well – so remember to check this out if you don’t already follow us.
So, that’s a good start to the day even if my feet are wet! Mark is back tomorrow and I’m a little worried how he is going to fight his way to his desk through all the letters and parcels he has received! I dread to think how many emails he will have to trawl through, but this is just part and parcel of being away for 2 weeks.
I do have quite a few things that I need to speak to Mark about so I’m glad he will be back tomorrow so we can hopefully get the current issue put to bed.
Yesterday I was working on a profile for Betty Scarpino which will be featured in the next issue. I was looking at her website yesterday and was stunned by some of the pieces she has created. I am also currently in discussions with Alan Carter who is also incredibly talented.
More proof reading is on the cards today, as well as more work on the next issue. My holiday is not far away now, so trying to get as much done as I possibly can.
I hope this weather doesn’t deter you too much for your turning!
Thanks again to all our Facebook and Twitter followers.
