Hello, and I hope you are all well?

Well, I am glad to say that this week has been less hectic, and I finally feel that I am back on track. Our repro deadline is now gone, and I am glad to say that everything went off on time, despite some initial concerns! So, this month I have been dealing with a lot of new websites. I have been quite surprised as to how many turning companies are revamping their websites and also embracing forms of social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. I have to say that I think this is a good thing as, after all, this is how the future of communication is set to go.

Those companies, to name but a few, who have recently revamped their websites are The Sanding Glove and Yandles. These new websites aim to be more user-friendly (as far as I could tell) and they also include a broader product range. Many companies have also made it a lot easier for their customers to buy their products on line, as well as in their retail outlets. Again, this is all good stuff and is an important development for companies to make.

We try to flag up as many websites as we can in our ‘round up’ pages, but if you know of any others which are new, or that have recently had a makeover, then please let me know and I will include them. If you happen to stumble across a fantastic turning website that others are not aware of, then let me know. Our news pages and website are the perfect vehicles for flagging up these up, so any exciting things happening in the world of turning, just let us know!

I have a half day so I will be off in a minute. I hope you all have great weekends and I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best,

Tegan
