Well, if you are reading this it means that our website is up and running and you have found it. It is my sincere hope that you find our website helpful and that you find the articles and forum of help. We will of course be uploading many more articles over the coming days and weeks and will have a constant update of content for you to look at. It is our intention to be the largest woodworking resource available. You will note that we also have our sister titles on the site: Furniture & Cabinetmaking, Woodcarving and Woodworking Plans and Projects, so you can visit their areas too and have a look at the latest projects, news and products.
I think the web has the potential to revolutionise how we access information and obviously makes information available to a wider audience than ever before. I must admit that although this is potentially wondrous, I also have a slight unease about it too. Maybe it’s because I am not one to sit a computer trawling the net for hours, instead preferring to get my hands dirty and create things in the workshop and so on. That said, I will also admit that the web has certainly allowed me to track information quicker than I would have otherwise been able to do had the web not been available.
As you can imagine, this is a large undertaking, and sites are a fluid ever-changing beast. To that end we would like your feedback as to what you would like to see and how to improve the site, and we will do our best to see what we can do to bring it about.
