This bright and airy pavilion was recently completed by Danish architects Mikkel Kjaergard Christiansen and Jesper Kort Andersen. They named the build 'Around Pavilion', which is to help people enjoy the great outdoors. Locally sourced wood was crafted by carpenter apprentices from a local college, and the structure stands in the gardens of Copenhagen's 17th-century Rosenborg Castle in the Danish capital.
"The trees in the garden create a rhythm with the poetic light glimpsed through the wooden structures of the pavilion and the scent of wood, grass and summer air unite in a spatial experience like no other," explained the architects.
