Paying for workspace is tough and lots of makers end up in the service sector. Britain looses skills and people loose their creative buzz. Sharing resources in a collaborative, 'not-for-profit' community is Building BloQs solution. Everyone wins.

Packed with useful resources, Building BloQs is a makerspace with a community of freelance professional makers and learners. Here you get affordable, flexible access to the things you need to make, invent and learn with, whether that's machines, space, advice or extra hands.

At Building BloQs you'll find a well-equipped wood workshop, metal workshop, spray booth and photography/multi-use studio. There's also BloQs Cafe, a friendly space to eat, meet and work. Best of all you don't have fixed overheads; it's pay-as-you-go. By sharing access you only ever pay for what you need, when you need it.

Over 75 members call BloQs their 'making home', from furniture makers to designers, metalworkers to set builders, from photographers to dancers. Building BloQs plan on more facilities for working in textiles, plastics and electronics. The more members the better it gets!
