Welcome to our new regular feature

In order to add a new area of interest to the forums and to encourage interaction between the different forum sections, the forum members are introducing this 'Members' Choice' thread to act as a showcase for a piece of work chosen by a member each week as their 'piece of the week'.

This week's members' choice is 'WW1 Bottle Stoppers By Nick Simpson, which were chosen by Bodrighy.

Here's what Bodrighy had to say: "We craftspeople/artists can get hung up on fancy work and forget that woodturning can also have a less 'serious' side. These stoppers are deceptively simple and show a skill as well as a sense of humour that is sometimes missing from the turning fraternity. Long live skilful craftspeople who have imagination and are unafraid to use it in this way."

Congratulations again to Nick and we will bring you another chosen piece next week. In the meantime, you can find out more about the pieces by clicking here.
