Welcome to our new regular feature

In order to add a new area of interest to the forums and to encourage interaction between the different forum sections, the forum members are introducing this 'Members' Choice' thread to act as a showcase for a piece of work chosen by a member each week as their 'piece of the week'.

This week's Members' Choice is 'Bog Oak - Revisited' by John Hodgson.

Here's what Colin had to say about the piece: "My members' choice is John Hodgson's 'Bog Oak - Re-visited'. This was a difficult choice as I loved his two laburnum hollow forms. In the end, I decided that the skill and imagination required to turn and finish a difficult piece of wood was outstanding. It just goes to show that we shouldn't give up on a piece of wood just because it isn't perfect. Well done, John!"

Congratulations again to John and we will bring you another chosen piece next week. In the meantime, you can find out more about the pieces by clicking here.
