Marc Fish describes the brief for Nautilus II was for 'a large statement piece, with maybe a hint of the sea'. It's intended home to be a large loft-style apartment overlooking the English Channel.
Marc developed a new technique to turn 4,000 pieces of veneer strips into a 10mm think logarithmic spiral. Nautilus II is made of sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus), glass, Japanese Paper and Resin.
