Bunchi, playing on the word 'funchi' - meaning 'rim' in Japanese - is a collection of toys with brightly painted rims, painted by local craftsmen. The plain wooden toys are to encourage the education in the role of trees and forests, to make the objects in our lives.

The toys have been designed by Tokyo-based Fumie Shibata.
