Gorey and District Woodturners hold one of the largest one-day seminars outside of the IWG national seminar. They have attracted big names over the years such as Binh Pho, Nick Agar, Mark Sanger and Glenn Lucas just, name just a few.
This year is no exception with six big names in woodturning appearing, all of whom are nationally and internationally known: Jean-Francois Escoulen, Mark Hancock, Liam O'Neill, Robert O'Connor, Seamus Cassidy and Simon Hope.
The event takes place on Saturday 1 March, 2014 in the beautiful four-star Amber Springs hotel in the heart of Gorey town. The hotel is only 200m from the train station and bus stop, a 90-minute drive from Dublin airport and a 40-minute drive from Rosslare Euro port. So why not take a trip to the south east of Ireland for a fantastic day of woodturning?
The day costs 65 Euros (£54) for IWG members and 70 Euros (£58) for non members. This includes the cost entry into the seminar and a three course lunch.
