Have you ever wanted to set up a workshop at home? Not ready to go out and rent a workshop, but wanting to take your woodwork to the next stage of serious amateur? The Huntley School of Woodworking is now running a course to teach you how to do just that.
You can adapt a garage or build your own workshop in the garden. Design, costs, planning consent, power supply, and building the structure are all covered.
Then what are you going to put in it? Designing and building a bench is discussed – actually building the bench is a separate day course – which power tools to start off with, where to put them and how to use them. Timber storage and access and finally, but most importantly – heating the workshop.
