I''m a believer

Along with the rest of the office I’ve had my instructions to do a ‘Christmas blog’ before I go and even more so than usual I’m well and truly stumped as to what to offer. What on earth can I say about Christmas that you don’t already know or haven’t already heard? First of all I’m going to spare you the cozy chat and say that whether you spend the next few days with friends, family or a combination of both, kick back, relax and enjoy. I’m going to try and do precisely that for as long as I can remain undetected on the domestic radar, which generally isn’t long enough, but rather by accident the circumstances were such last night that I had an hour in a country pub, fireside with a book and a pint, while my youngest was living it up in the village hall at the Brownies Christmas party. I sat down and respecting the sanctity of the pub, went to mute my phone only to discover there was no signal. Oh what bliss. I can therefore declare without any shadow of a doubt, Santa does exist and will continue to appear every Thursday teatime throughout 2013 and beyond if I have anything to do with it.

All the best
