It’s been a couple of busy weeks in the workshop and office getting the pre Christmas issues out on time with enough room to get things lined up for January. One of which was a behind the scenes tour of the All England Club, more commonly referred to as Wimbledon. Now if you think you’ve had a busy year so far, spare a thought for the army of dedicated staff who, for two weeks of the year put on a tournament to rival anything else in the world. The Club was also the venue for the Olympic tennis tournament earlier this year with just under three weeks between tournaments to prepare grounds. With a fully functioning workshop head carpenter Archie finds he’s got his work cut out for the remaining 50 weeks of the year. We’ll have more on this in the magazine after Christmas but for now that’s about all we’ve got time for.

Have a great weekend
