Whatever the weather

Yes folks it’s that time of the week again where the rain moves in on what is set to be yet another wet weekend. If you’re basking in glorious sunshine right now, lucky you.
The office is quiet as those that aren’t working from home today have slipped off to the pub for lunch. This usually results in a quiet afternoon, well, relatively speaking if you don’t include the snoring!
It was a huge disappointment not to be at the Axe Vale show last weekend (another victim of the weather) and be part of Axminster’s celebrations. This weekend will be spent painting the shed – on the inside in case you were wondering and possibly turning the clock back to a time when my enthusiasm out-weighed my ability. I’ll spare you the details about how, but I recently found myself to be the proud recipient of Supermarine Spitfire Airfix kit, complete with paints and a brush. I don’t mind admitting the excitement is still there and who knows I might even be able to see the pilot through the canopy when it’s all done. Probably wont get away with hanging it from the ceiling when it’s finished this time though, in fact I’m not sure what I’ll do with it.
Next weekend is the PR Industrial Tool show in Brighton, which is home turf for me and as usual I’m looking forward to meeting as many readers as are able to make it along. It’s shaping up to be quite an event and it’s mainly in-doors.
Enjoy your weekend
