It''s a Rollover
Tuesday, October 20, 2009
I have managed to push that Monday morning feeling into Tuesday so far this week because this weekend is looking like a rollover. It was pint and a curry night with Matt from WPP last night. Lunchtime today F&C and WPP are meeting up with the folk from Airpress and I definitely heard Mark Baker mention The Old Ship. “The food’s better there” he said. David Barron is calling in today as well, before lunch I think and a quick glance at my diary reminds me that I’ve got Thursday off. So if I can just fill Wednesday with something that doesn’t feel too much like hard work Monday will take place on Friday this week.
We have had some very encouraging news circulated in house yesterday regarding the Woodworkers Institute website. Since the re-launch we have seen a sharp increase in traffic to the site with the number of pages viewed per day now up to around 15,000. The additional content has obviously been a success as the site continues to establish itself as an invaluable resource for information as well as a place to exchange views and opinions across the board. The last headcount was in excess of 9,000 and shows no sign of slowing down. It’s our intention to build on this and expand the content of the site. So please, if you have any ideas let me know.
