I have been at the helm of F&C for 10 years I am now moving on to pastures new. It has been a privilege to work and talk with such wonderful craftspeople from around the world. The 20 working day production cycles certainly kept me on my toes and it will be a different pace of life from here on  ...

    I read somewhere that oak wood naturally contains too much tannic acid. And so the spots are happened when exposed metal and moisture for example..... wet glass and other related stuffs.

    It may be worth using an outdoor furniture oil it will protect the wood and repel moisture and dry so as not to come off on your cloths
