I noticed it too!

I must say that I have not submitted an image of mine for the very same reason, I cannot remember when it was last clean enough to be on public view!

Nice to see the picture, pity it wasn't larger!

Nice one Walter.

It looks very tidy and organised and very clean, but if all you turn is pens it must be easy to keep it that way. Wink LOL

Congrats for the picture and mention Walter.

Well done Walter.

Hi Chaps

That is actually just one corner of the workshop, there are more photographs of it HERE

I do (sometimes) make other things John, I am just a bit obsessive about tidying up.

Be careful what you wish for Ray.

He knows, I have e-mailed him a link. (Nothing wrong with a spot of self promotion.)

It would be if I published a link but I don't suppose that Fred Holder, the publisher of More Woodturning would be very pleased with me if I provided a free link to his magazine on a website that anyone can access. It is however the same as an article that appeared in the Newsletter of the South Auckland Woodturners Guild for which it was originally written at Terry Scott's suggestion. Anyone who desperately wants to read it can PM me with their e-mail address and I will send them a PDF of that newsletter.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Regards

Walter

Hi Walter

I too enjoyed seeing the photo in the mag.

Your workshop looks amazingly well planned and tidy infinitely more so than mine.

Regards

Craig

Thanks to Mark Craig and David for your kind comments.

Mark, I have time to be tidy, I am not trying to make a living from turning like some of you.

David, many a true word spoken in jest, I must have a clear out in the loft.

Hi Walter,
Congratulations on your writing and photo, a place for everything and everything in its place, I'm impressed. Like me you like to tidy up after every job, doesn't it make life easier in the long run.

Well done you.

kind regards,

Helen.

Thank you for your kind words Helen, tidying up does make life so much easier, now if only I could persuade myself to sharpen all the tools at the end of every session.............

Kind regards

Walter

Hi Walter,
I tracked down your article through Google.
I like it very much, very well written and presented
I would love to see you do an article in Woodturning, on pen making of course.
Well done.
Regards
Liam
