My last bit of Wych Elm that John Hodgson gave me when we visited him last.
4" x 2 1/2" infilled with Silver and finished with Chestnut finishing oil.

Really nice piece of Elm burr like the shape and finish with the inturned edge

Very nice. Reminds me of a Hawaiian calabash form. Very nice Elm is always a great wood for character

Yes Derek. I've done a few this shape and it keeps coming up. Shouldn't have a sloping rim to be a calabash apparently but I like it that way!
