I have been in the workshop but not done much, well unless you call gardening not much. However the wife wanted some fruit so I did these for her, now one happy wife which means more workshop time for me.
Made from Yew, Walnut, London plane and Applewood.

Fruit are a subject I resist for some reason, but once started I find them addictive and keep looking for an extra bit of suitable off-cut.

Agree whole-heartedly...I've been fortunate enough to have my own shop in which I can sell my work, and fruit has been one of those items that just sells and sells. Great for using off-cuts, great as a sample piece to make at local demos and fairs. I even have a local hotel which takes full size pairs with key-ring fittings set into them, for the hotel rooms and suites, and then to keep the guests happy when they say how much they like the key rings, I also make mini-pear key-rings so that they can buy one to take home......the hotel has currently bought about 150.
