Hello All

Due to ill health I am looking to close my workshop soon.
Does anyone have any advice as to the best way to sell / dispose of my tools etc - Are there companies that would buy complete workshop contents or possibly donate items to a charity perhaps?
Any advice gratefully received.
Regards.
BIllio

Sorry to hear you're not well and having to shut up shop.
With regards to selling / donating:
Possibly a local Men's Shed?
Or list it on here and people may pay for items?
Best of luck with it
Greg
I hope you like my son's caricature of me! If you want one of you - PM me.

Hi Billio,

Very sorry to hear of your ill health. Hope you feel better soon.

We run a community based workshop in London aiming to upskill people in the area.
People have been very kind in the past and have donated all sorts of useful tools and we are always on the look out for generous donations....especially hand tools for traditional woodwork.

Let me know if we can help offload some of your things - it would all be put to great use!

All the best

Alex

Hello Greg
Apologies for the late reply.
Thanks for your suggestions, I have a local 'men in sheds' group I'll contact.

Hello Alex
Apologies for the late reply.
Thanks for otter suggestion.
Your community workshop is a great cause, however my problem is that I'm based near Okehampton, Devon, and I can't drive that far anymore. I have heart failure so get tired easily.
I'll look at my local men in sheds group to see if I can help in some way, however if you wish to let me have your email/phone number, we might be able to work it out.
Regards
Bill
