Hi all,
well, just about recovered from a busy weekend.
Sunday was a great day a lot of hustle and bustle getting things all set up,
the competition entries arranged then the wait for the Judges decision.
The judge this year was:-
Russel Gibbs
Vice chairman A.W.G.B.
Russel's Decision in order of merit :-

1st Northumbria Woodturners.

2nd Border Woodturners

3rd Scottish Borders Woodturners

Northumbria retain the trophy
Russel had a difficult job to do I am pleased that I am not called upon for such a position.
Managed to find time to chat to "old" friends and new.
Many thanks to all who turned in to set up, our three "lads" who demonstrated - James Tommy and Wayne who had quite a crowd throughout the day and those who stayed behind to clean and tidy up after the event.
Photo's and other info is available on our web site:-

Thanks to Martin and Pat Pidgen  (Timber Blanks etc.) also

Dave and Chris Biven with all the goodies that they brought.

I hope that it was a successful day and you all got home safely
