Showcasing the world of wood, this show takes place in the beautiful Kinmel Park Estate, St George Abergele, which is a new site for the show. The move to this permanent new site allows the festival to continue its enormous success and popularity. The Kinmel Park Estate Is surrounded by mature woodlands with the elegant Kinmel Hall in the background.
This is an interactive festival, full of exciting things to do for all the family. Step back in time and see craftsmen and women carrying out traditional Crafts and skills - creating beautiful, fascinating and functional art, sculptures, objects, buildings and more.
Woodfest has seven different event arenas with exhilarating displays going on constantly along with over 150 outside stands of demonstrations and trade, and main main marquees full of interesting and unique goods produced.
There will be three days of events including chainsaw carving competitions, lumberjack competitions, axe racing, pole climbing, horse logging competitions, birds of prey displays and much more.
17 chainsaw artists will be competing to carve giant wooden sculptures, all of which will be available to purchase at the charity auction on Sunday.
There will be an arts zone, education zone, craft fair, food fair, woodturning and tools marquee and children's play areas and rides.
