I won’t lie, it’s been a bit busy – slight understatement. The editor’s chair isn’t unfamiliar to me but it has been a few years since I last wore the mantle. So, it’s been all systems go, inevitably I change one or two things in the mag and other things come up, so it becomes an evolving process, updating what is already a good magazine but trying to make it even better. There’s plenty to be getting on with but I have finally escaped the rigours of the office for the relative peace and calm of the GMC Workshop. So, I’m back on the tools for a couple of days, making projects and technique articles just as before. I save book writing for the evenings, helped along with a glass or two of white wine to help smooth away ‘writers block’. I’ve got three weeks to get the mag sorted and out of the door, wish me luck I may need it.
