Hi Pete

Sonokling is an Indonesian Rosewood, which turns beautifully and comes in range of colours such as deep purple brown, reddish brown, sometimes greenish brown.

Many thanks for your comments

Very nice, but I sure the proportions could be improved upon by making the foot at least as wide as the top.
Having said that the finish looks incredible- what was used ?

Looking great Mark.

The only thing is in my humble opinion, the foot would have looked better with a sweep down rather than the cone shape!

Still very nice

Its lovely, I'm inclined to agree about the foot but only because it isn't a nice as all the other curves.  But then I saw your website and you are quite the hidden gem; do us all a favour and remove the 'butcher' bit from your name, its not true. Wink
