After watching Russell Eaton's demo Thursday night in Atlanta l had to try his finishing technique with CA glue.

That's a very nicely decorated pen Michael,
I assume it is pyrographed like your teapots. What wood did you use for the barrel? and how many coats of CA did you put on it? Fine job

John B, Yes it is pyro'd like the teapots, the barrel is from Holly and l put on about 5 coats of CA glue, l wished l had put more on to fill in all the pyro dots, next time. Michael |

Michael, You have such a distinctive style which is obviously yours (and I believe your wife's). Another stunner and just as effective on the smaller items.

This is the sort of item that makes me want to try making pens but I am scared that I will get hooked!
Nevertheless the finished item is really beautiful and one that would make me very tight as regards keeping it for myself! Lovely, thankyou for sharing, Peter. |
